The atmosphere at The Ordinary Pub is one of my favorite places in Savannah. You enter on Broughton Street, and head down a flight of stairs to enter the basement, cellar, brick-walled, rustic atmosphere.
I’ve been here for some appetizer bites through the Savannah Taste Food Tour and also for brunch. On the Food Tour, we were treated to the pork belly slider, which was very tender and delicious!
I came in with a group for brunch, which allowed us to try a few different things. Also, for brunch, they do $10 bottomless mimosas!
For food, we tried the Broughton Omelette, the Mac n Cheese with an egg on it, the Ordinary Burger, and the Benedict with a beet-hollandaise sauce.
While none of the food was out of this world, it was good and satisfied us for a day out on the town. The burger was my favorite – it’s 50/50 blend of beef and pork with cheddar cheese and arugula on a brioche bun and BACON on top!
The prices are reasonable and it’s a good spot for groups. They also have a good variety of cocktails.
