Tasty N Alder

After having been to Tasty N Sons in NE Portland, I knew I had to try Tasty N Alder downtown. Once again, I made sure to order the chocolate potato donut because it is fabulous and definitely worth the $2 pricetag.

We then split the French toast with huckleberry maple jam and whipped cream. The jam was right on and the dollop of whip cream helped bring it all together.

We finished with the fried egg and cheddar biscuit with fried chicken. This reminded me of my southern roots, but was so delicious. The biscuit was flaky and fresh, and the chicken was nice and crunchy. Love how it was plated on a wooden cutting board. Great experience, as expected!
