Popping in for a fun and easy baked cauliflower bites recipe today. If you love veggies, you’re going to love this crispy roasted cauliflower.

It is the perfect appetizer or side dish for any entrée.

I first made these a few weeks ago. One of my meal delivery sides was a panko-crusted roasted cauliflower. As soon as I tasted them, I knew I could spice up the recipe a little bit to take after my Garlic Parsnip Fries.

Since I bought turmeric in bulk, I’m still looking for different ways to include it in my meals and snacks. It has so many health properties!

I’ll usually sprinkle some into my Vega One shakes and smoothies, or add some when I’m sautéing veggies.

This sheetpan panko cauliflower recipe is another great way to include turmeric!

Beware: the turmeric will give your veggies (and maybe your hands) a pretty little yellow stain, but it’s totally worth it!

Ingredients For Panko Cauliflower Bites

What I love most is outer crispy layer in these crispy baked cauliflower bites. Crisp cauliflower, brussel sprouts and broccoli speak to me.

Here’s what you need:

  • cauliflower
  • avocado oil
  • garlic powder
  • minced garlic
  • turmeric
  • panko breadcrumbs
  • sea salt
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • a good sheetpan!

I love sheet pan roasted vegetables. They’re so easy! When you learn how easy this baked cauliflower recipe is too, you will agree.

How To Make Crispy Baked Cauliflower Bites

This is the ultimate secret, isn’t it.  First, you’ll need a hot oven set to 400 degrees.

Then, make sure you cut your cauliflower into small florets.

Try to make them as even sized as possible. This will ensure they cook evenly.

Marinate your florets in avocado oil, garlic powder, turmeric and panko.

Then, transfer them to a baking sheet. Add sea salt and parmesan cheese.

Bake for 15 minutes, before flipping the florets over to bake for 15 minutes minutes.

Can You Make This a Vegan Cauliflower Recipe?

Yes. Instead of parmesan cheese, use nutritional yeast flakes!

I can’t believe some people eat cauliflower raw. It’s so cruciferous and doesn’t sit well in my stomach.

Cooking it makes it much more digestible and much more palatable, in my opinion. Plus, you get to add all the tasty flavorings and toppings.

So if you’re wondering, why roast cauliflower?, that’s why you should try this recipe!

What Should You Eat With Cauliflower?

These crispy baked cauliflower bites are perfect for your football appetizers on their own.

We like to pair them with these paleo turkey burgers or toss them on our salads. These also go great with this butter chicken rice bowl. Add them on!

I bet you could get your friends and family to fall in love with cauliflower after this recipe.

Maybe they already liked it before, but this recipe will get them more excited.
